Purchasing:

We do not have a regular retail shop so all sales are made on-line direct from our warehouse. This helps us to keep our costs low and consequently allows us to bring you lower prices. Presently, we import and stock Faller, Kibri, Viessmann, Vollmer, Noch, Woodland Scenics, and some Kato and some vehicles from Classic Metal works' 'mini metals' range.

If you order, at a particular price, an item that is not currently in stock, and are prepared to pay a 50% deposit on the item, we feel that we owe it to you to supply it at that price when it eventually arrives. We will NOT alter the price of an already-purchased item, despite that there may be cost changes as a result of currency adjustments. We believe that we have an ethical duty to behave in this manner.

New Zealand Customers: Simply email me with your requirements. (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) I will add GST and pack/delivery charges, and advise you of our bank account number. This way, we can combine items for delivery charges. We find that most buyers prefer to pay this way rather than through the other alternative 'PayMate', using a credit card.

Australian Buyers: We now have a bank account in Australia so you can follow the same procedure as our Kiwi customers. Email us on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your requirements, we will calculate the postage and give you an amount in Australian Dollars for you to deposit in our Australian bank account. We will supply our account number at the same time.

Alternatively, any overseas buyer can pay through PayMate or PayPal, quoting our email address.

For all buyers, as soon as we notice the amount in our bank account, we will forward the goods ordered.

For those using their credit cards, we have a minimum purchase of $40.00. This is because of the fixed costs per transaction.

Supply:

Presently, we stock Faller, Kibri, Viessmann, Vollmer, Noch, Kato and Woodland Scenics.

If an item you wish to purchase is not currently in stock, please send me an email and we can tell you when it is likely to be arriving.

You will notice that there is a ‘signal' alongside each item. This is an interactive system that will change automatically should the stock situation change as a result of a customer purchase or new stock being ordered or arriving in New Zealand.

lights-green‘Green' signifies that the item is in stock. Turnaround is usually with 48 hours from receipt of your order.

lights-amber‘Yellow' signifies that the item, although not in stock, has been ordered and is on its way to us. The likely arrival date is mentioned in the text next to the signal..

lights-red‘Red' signifies that the item is not presently held in stock by us. If you wish to purchase an item with a 'red' signal, simply email us and we will respond with a likely date when we will be ordering from the manufacturers.

While we endeavour to keep our data-bases up to date and accurate, we are only human and sometimes (rarely I hope) our indicators of stock availability may be incorrect. Please accept our apologies if this happens.

   Payment:

For those paying by credit card, we use 'Paymate' or 'PayPal' which are secure sites with encryption of credit card details. We do not hold credit card details in store. Please do not send cash through the post.

Prices are in New Zealand dollars but purchasers are able to see approximate prices in a different currency if they so require. Payment, however, will be in N.Z. Dollars for N.Z. customers and all overseas customers.

Those paying by credit card from overseas may notice a small difference between the approximate indicated price and the amount that will show on their credit card statement.

New Zealand purchasers will need to add G.S.T. to the prices as prices shown EXCLUDE G.S.T.

For those living within New Zealand, and paying by Credit Card; GST and postage/courier charges are added during the checkout process.

Shipping:

Within New Zealand, delivery is generally by N.Z. Post. Pack and Post costs within New Zealand will be a calculated rate based on the size of the item. We will aggregate items where possible, to keep charges as low as possible.

Outside New Zealand, delivery will be through the postal system with prices varying according to destination country, again at a calculated rate based on weight.

Note that we will never under-declare the value of goods shipped overseas, so please don't request this.

Also note that first-time deliveries for any particular customer will be to their home address as indicated on the order form. Only subsequent deliveries may be requested to be delivered to an alternative address.
